This work is something I have been wanting to do for a very long time. Twenty years ago I created a soundscape called "Haunted Factory". I created it in a very basic audio computer program by recording and designing several machine-like sounds. The fascination for that particular process never left me.

Just recently I obtained a small new analog synthesizer. It was recommended to me by one of my best friends and I was intrigued by how much authenticity this little machine possesses.
It marked the beginning of several weeks of experimentation. The creation of these musical cues therefore happened very intuitively. There was no plan or even the idea of creating an album. Ultimately I felt I had enough music to compile something together. The image of a dark corridor was something that kept coming up over and over again. I started drawing and ultimately made it look grittier as a reference and homage to old computer games that inspired me back in the day.

'Dark Corridor' is an assemblage of ominous ambient soundscapes.
The gritty, pressing cues are almost entirely created through performances with analogue synthesizers. Additional strange effects, haunting detuned melodies all culminate in an eerie backdrop of strange mechanical suspense.
